Description

Ebb Tide is a one-of-a-kind shirt from the Salt Spray Series, capturing the quieter moment after the water begins to pull away.

A fragment of the Great Wave remains on the chest, while indigo patches appear lower on the shirt like traces left behind by the receding tide. A hand-stitched Rice Grains Variation sashiko motif extends across one of the patches, adding movement and connection between the separate elements.

The airy, textured white fabric gives the whole piece a light, washed-by-the-sea feeling – less about the force of the wave and more about what remains after it passes.
