Pattern, texture, and a little piece of Amsterdam come together in this design.

Reclaimed denim and vintage textiles are combined with the graphic geometry of the PDX to the World. Three hand-stitched St. Andrew’s Crosses reference Amsterdam’s iconic XXX symbol, found on the city’s coat of arms and throughout its streets.

The simple stitched crosses give the piece a direct connection to Amsterdam while the contrasting textiles and PDX carpet bring the two cities together in one composition.
