Description

Ever Forward is a one-of-a-kind dark indigo shirt rebuilt around the traditional Japanese Arrow Feathers (Yabane) motif.

The front is reconstructed with a contrasting textile panel patterned with flying arrows, while the back carries the same motif in hand-stitched Arrow Feathers (Yabane) sashiko. Two interpretations of one symbol – one printed on cloth, the other drawn by hand.

Traditionally, the arrow motif represents determination and forward movement. An arrow, once released, does not return – a fitting symbol for leaving what has passed behind and continuing on the path ahead.

The original shirt retains the softness and subtle fading of a life already lived. Rather than erasing that history, the reconstruction gives it a new direction.
