Kinchaku (巾着) – Japanese-style drawstring pouch.
Purpose: Carrying valuables and personal possessions: cell phone, car keys, sunglasses etc.
History: Dating back to the Edo period (1603-1868), kinchakus solved the issue of absence of pockets on traditional kimonos and yukatas. They were initially used to carry currency, name seals, cosmetics and lucky charms.

This very limited series celebrates the art of slowing down and achieving a perfect work-life balance.
Each drawstring pouch in Work Can Wait series is a gentle reminder to step away (however briefly) from work assignments and reconnect with what really matters: forest walks, mid-week ocean escapes, or simply playing with your pet.
The lining of each pouch is made from repurposed luxury shirts manufactured by companies specializing in high-end work attire, and once worn by the business executives, symbolically transforming “modern business uniforms” into casual functional EDC bags rooted in history and Japanese spirit.
